Hickory FC

Soccer was a defining influence in my life, and when my hometown launched its first semi-professional team, I pursued the opportunity to contribute from its inception. During Hickory FC’s inaugural season, I joined the creative team and led all social media strategy and execution. By the second year, my responsibilities expanded to include directing all video production efforts.

Throughout my tenure, I drove measurable growth across digital platforms, increasing Instagram followers by 308.2% and Facebook followers by 953.9%, growing the club’s audience to more than 9,000 followers. The content I produced generated over 8.9 million views, 223,000 engagements, and reached more than 568,000 unique users, significantly enhancing brand visibility and fan engagement.

In addition to content production, I oversaw Hickory FC’s creative internship program, managing workflow, providing mentorship, and supporting the professional development of emerging sports media professionals.
