Soccer has always been the most influential sport in my life, so when my hometown launched its first semi-professional team, I knew I had to be a part of it. During Hickory FC’s inaugural season, I joined a talented creative team and took the lead on all social media strategy and execution. By year two, my role expanded to include directing all video production. In that time, I delivered significant growth — driving a 308.2% increase in Instagram followers and a 953.9% increase on Facebook, growing the club’s audience to more than 9,000 followers. My content has generated over 8.9 million views, 223,000 engagements, and reached more than 568,000 unique users, dramatically elevating the club’s brand visibility and fan engagement.
Beyond content creation, I also oversee Hickory FC’s creative internship program — a role that has strengthened my leadership and communication skills while giving me the opportunity to mentor the next generation of sports creatives.
