Soccer has always been the most influential sport in my life. So when my hometown launched its first semi-professional team, I knew I had to be a part of it. During Hickory FC’s inaugural season, I joined a talented team of creatives to help establish the HFC brand and grow the club’s following to over 5,000 across all platforms—in just two months.
In year two, I took on the role of Social Media Coordinator and Videographer, leading the club’s digital strategy. Since then, we’ve grown our audience to over 9,000, with total viewership surpassing 900,000 and a 95% increase in engagement over the past month alone—more than 26,000 interactions as of May 21, 2025.
I also oversee the club’s creative internship program, a responsibility that continues to strengthen my leadership and communication skills while giving me the chance to mentor the next generation of sports creatives.
