Lenoir-Rhyne

As a Lead Creative Video Intern for Lenoir-Rhyne Athletics, I contributed to the visual storytelling of Bears Sports by producing photo, video, and digital content across multiple programs. From basketball and lacrosse to baseball, softball, tennis, and track & field, I helped capture the competitive energy and personality that defined Lenoir-Rhyne athletics.

My role included shooting and editing game-day content, assisting with livestream productions, operating cameras, and supporting live stats and in-game coverage. I focused on creating content that not only highlighted performance but also strengthened the connection between our teams and the LR community.

Working within a dynamic Division II environment developed my versatility and attention to detail while reinforcing the importance of teamwork behind the scenes. My experience at LR laid the foundation for my growth as a sports creative, teaching me how to adapt quickly, tell meaningful stories, and represent a program with pride and professionalism.

In November 2022, following my freshman season with the Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Soccer team, I began a Creative Media Internship with the university’s athletic media department, Bears Sports. Over the course of my ongoing internship, I’ve gained hands-on experience in nearly every aspect of sports media, working across production, live event coverage, and digital content creation. My responsibilities have included producing livestreams, operating cameras for both broadcast and in-venue use, and managing official live statistics for NCAA competition.

Beyond game-day production, I have captured and edited photo and video content tailored for social media, promotional campaigns, and long-form storytelling. This role has given me the opportunity to work with nearly every sport on campus, adapting my creative approach to fit the unique energy, traditions, and audiences of each team.

Some of my most notable projects include leading creative video production for the LR Baseball Team’s historic 2025 College World Series run—developing behind-the-scenes content, cinematic recaps, and player features that amplified the program’s visibility—and providing production support for the 2025 Football Media Day, contributing to a professional, high-impact media presence for one of the university’s flagship programs.

This experience has strengthened not only my technical skills in camera operation, editing, and livestream production, but also my ability to tell compelling stories that elevate a team’s brand, engage fans, and capture the spirit of college athletics.
